How to read our pre-market note
The Daily Pre-Market Note follows the same structure every day. Here is what each part is for, and what it deliberately leaves out.

Sample content. This page shows the layout. Its text is a placeholder and any figures are illustrative, not market data.
The same shape every day
Each note has four parts in the same order: the overnight picture, the indicators we check before the open, today's calendar, and one term worth knowing. Keeping the shape fixed means you can read it in two minutes and know where to look.
The overnight picture
What happened in markets while India was closed, and which parts might matter at the open. If nothing much happened, the note says so.
The indicators
Five readings with their caveats: GIFT Nifty, the US 10-year Treasury yield, Brent crude, USD/INR and the previous session's provisional FII/DII figures. The point is context, not a forecast.
The calendar
Data releases, policy events and company results due today, with times in IST.
What the note leaves out
There are no levels to trade, no stocks to watch for a move, and no calls. That's deliberate. The note is there to help you understand the morning. What you do with it is your decision.
